Bhubaneswar: Woman Cop kicks youth, brutally assaults him inside police station

A female cop in Odisha's Keonjhar district has been put under the scanner due to her inappropriate behaviour. The female cop, working with the Odisha Police as an inspector thrashed a youth within the premises of a police station and a video of the incident went viral. 

The accused woman cop has been identified as Sandhyarani Jena. Jena is an inspector at the Patana police station. 

The video of the incident was filmed on a mobile phone. In the video, the cop can be seen raining blows on the youth as the rest of the staff plays silent spectators. 

The victim youth was identified as Raju Mahant. Mahant is a resident of Talasarua village. He had gone to the police station as he had a land dispute. At the police station, Raju Mahant was beaten up as the staff watched in silence.

Ayushmann Khurrana recalls shocking casting couch experience

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana has recalled a shocking casting couch experience from his early days in the film industry.

He told Pinkvilla in an interview, “A casting director had told me, ‘I’ll give you the lead role if you showed me your tool.’ I told him I’m straight and I politely refused his offer.” 

Recalling his initial days in the industry, when he was an auditioning actor, he continued, “Initially, there used to be auditions where they would take your solo test. Then suddenly, the number started increasing and there would be 50 people in the same room. When I protested, they asked me to leave. So I have faced rejections.”

Harassed by Wife's allegations, Cricketer Shami Thought of Suicide

India paceman Mohammed Shami on Saturday revealed that he contemplated committing suicide at least thrice when he was enduring a difficult phase of his life in 2018.

Shami was booked for domestic violence after his wife Hasin Jahan lodged a complaint against him.

"During that period there was also a personal crisis in my life. You won't believe it but I contemplated committing suicide three times during that period," Shami told his India teammate Rohit Shrama during an Instagram live session.

"My family members were worried that I might end up doing something drastic. I was just not able to think about cricket at that point."

एटा के एक ही परिवार के पाँच लोगों की मौत के मामले में पुलिस ने सनसनी खेज खुलासा किया है। घर की बहू ने जहर देकर पहले सबको मारा और फिर खुद जहर खाकर आत्महत्या कर ली। एसएसपी ने बताया कि घर में कलह चल रही थी। बहू रुड़की शिफ्ट होना चाहती थी। इसी कारण इस वारदात को अंजाम दिया गया। 

एटा में एक ही परिवार के पांच लोगों का शव शनिवार सुबह मिला। घर से हारपिक और सल्फास की डिब्बी भी मिली थी। कोतवाली नगर के मोहल्ला शृंगार नगर में रिटायर्ड स्वास्थ्यकर्मी राजेश्वर प्रसाद पचौरी (75) पुत्र रामप्रसाद पचौरी रहते थे। उनकी पुत्रवधू दिव्या (35) पत्नी दिवाकर, नाती आरुष (8) आरव (एक) रहते थे। कुछ दिन पूर्व बेटे की साली बुलबुल निवासी सोनई (23) निवासी सोनई, हाथरस भी आ गई थी।

घर की बहू व मृतका दिव्या पचौरी ने अपने ससुर, बहन, बेटे को जहर देकर मारा। दसके बाद अपने छोटे बेटे आरव की मुंह दबाकर हत्या कर दी। इसके बाद दिव्या ने विषाक्त खाया और अपने हाथ की नस काटकर अपनी जान दे दी।
