Pune: Girl fakes her own abduction to avoid mother’s scolding

A 17-year-old girl cooked up a story of abduction to evade scolding from her mother for leaving home without permission.

An investigation of the Bund Garden police following the arrest of a man (22) on Thursday on the charge of abducting the girl with the promise of marriage revealed it. A magisterial court on Friday sent the man in police remand till November 2, though.

Deputy commissioner of police, Zone (II), Suraj Patil told TOI, “Our investigation revealed that the girl and the boy were having an affair.”

On Thursday, the girl’s mother from Tadiwala Road lodged an FIR accusing the man of abducting her daughter on October 25 and keeping her confined to his residence at Kedgaon, Chaufula, in Daund taluka. The girl told her mother that her two friends had taken her to Hadapsar and handed her over to the suspect.

But Police probe revealed that the girl had called the boy to her residence and accompanied him on her own. The questioning of her two friends revealed that they had not taken her to Hadapsar. The girl finally admitted that she had misled her mother.

Madhya Pradesh: Daughter registers a complaint against father for ‘cheating’ her in Ludo game

A game of Ludo has has now caused distress to a family in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh after the 24-year-old daughter reached a family court to file a complaint against her own father for cheating in Ludo, reports ANI.

The young woman approached a family court after she was defeated several times in Ludo games by her father in Bhopal. It all began when the young woman, her two siblings and their father started playing the board game during the coronavirus lockdown.

After losing a game, the young woman developed bitterness against her father. The resentment increased over time after the father defeated her in subsequent games. The family had to undergo counselling sessions to resolve the issue.

“A 24-year-old young woman had come to us and said that when she was playing Ludo with her siblings and father, her father killed her tokens (goti) and she felt it was a breach of trust. She said she had trusted her father a lot and didn’t expect to be defeated by him,” said Sarita Rajani, family court counsellor.

Sam Bombay's net-worth is Rs 76 Crores as per news sites. He should have got a pre-nap agreement before marrying Poonam Pandey to protect himself against "marital extortion". Marital extortion is a common occurrence where a woman marries a rich man, and then starts threatening him with threats to file dowry and other complaints in order to harass the man and extort money. All such evil things are happening because of "gender biased laws". 

Laws in our country are totally gender biased in favor or women and against men. There are gender specific laws for women which are misused and all such laws are stringent against men and cause their defamation and victimization. On the other hand, there is no gender specific law to protect men. 

It is high time our country's leaders should repeal the gender biased laws and make those fair to both genders, men and women. 

Pune: Muslim man kills wife's ex-lover, a Hindu

Murder case of Saurabh Venkat Jadhav (28), resident of Aundh, has been solved. Police found that Saurabh was killed by a man named Ayaz Sheikh, resident of Shivajinagar, Pune, because Ayaz found out that Saurabh was his wife's ex-lover.

Chandrapur, Maharashtra: Saddened by wife's suicide, Man jumps into wife's pyre. When saved, ends life by jumping in a Well

In a tragic outburst of love for his deceased better half, a man jumped into the burning pyre of his wife to kill himself, at village Bhangram Talodhi in Gondpipri tehsil on Monday evening. After he was saved from the burning pyre by relatives, the depressed husband ran away and jump into a well, and ended his life. 

One Ruchita Chittawar from Bhangram Talodhi had got married to Kishor Khatik from Chandrapur on March 19. Kishor works at a driving training centre near RTO office. Ruchita was three months pregnant and had gone to her maternal house in Bhangram Talodhi four days back, since her mother was ill. When Kishor reached her place on Sunday to bring her back, he received the tragic news that his wife was missing. Later, her dead body was found in a well in the village the same evening. The reason behind her suicide could not be ascertained. 

With both families grieving over the loss of Ruchita and her unborn baby, the funeral was held at the local crematorium at 4pm on Monday. As all family members, including Kishor, were returning home, he suddenly ran back towards the crematorium. Startled family members rushed after him, and were shocked to see Kishor had jumped into the burning pyre. They somehow managed to pull him out of the pyre. Even before they could understand what had happened, Kishors once again fled and jumped into a nearby well. Family members ran after him and tried to save him by throwing ropes into the well. He, however, did not take the ropes and let himself drown. Talodhi police have registered a case of accidental death.
