Rajgardh SHO Vishnu Dutt Bisnoi has committed suicide. He has left a suicide note saying that he was not able to handle the pressure. A probe needs to be conducted to find out which pressure he was talking about. There have been letters and chats going viral on social media mentioning that Mr. Bisnoi was being harassed and some forces were trying to frame him.
Bisnoi had served in police department for 21 years. It proves that he knew how to handle stress and pressures. In the police department, he had an image of a "Dabang" Policeman, which also makes this point. In the past whenever he was transferred, people would take up streets to oppose that. It proves that he had good mass support and he did good work too.
Before dying he wrote a letter to the district SP who happens to be a female. In the letter he apologized and mentioned that he was sorry for the step he was taking this step because so much pressure was built around him and that he had tried to give best service till his last breath.
This matter should be probed from all angles; including how the district SP used to treat him. It is often seen that men working under female supervisors are under maximum stress, because the female does not give enough efforts herself and the added workload comes down on the male members. It should also be probed that when he had already made a request to get transferred from that PS, why did he commit suicide. Is it that he was sure that he would not get a transfer? If he was under any pressure or fearing that he was being framed, he must have spoken about it to his supervisor, the female SP. Therefore all angles should be probed.
We demand that an honest CBI enquiry should be done and culprits should be brought in the open.
